September 9 - 17, 2026
Tour Overview
Join Explore Flower Tours for a tour of the Pacific Northwest, including Oregon and Washington.
Our tour begins in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Oregon, where we will spend 4 nights in Salem. We will take a flower workshop with well-known designer Francoise Weeks at the charming 3rd Street Retreat in downtown Newberg, and a workshop with flower farmer Kristin Witte. Experience pure flower fun at Swan Island Dahlia's festival, which is spread throughout their dahlia farm.
In Washington, we will spend 4 nights on the majestic Lake Washington in Kirkland. Our flower workshop with Debra Prinzing, founder of the Slow Flowers movement, will take place at the Seattle Wholesale Growers Market, where will be treated to a private tour. Our second Washington workshop will be lead by Flirty Fleurs at their studio in Snohomish. Our trip wouldn't be complete without a trip to Seattle's iconic Pike Place Market, where we will see the market by food tour.
In both states we will visit stunning gardens, including the Portland Japanese Garden, the Bellevue Botanical Garden and multiple private gardens.

Floral design workshops meant for all levels of skill, including beginners. Our instructors include:
Francoise Weeks - Belgian-born Weeks is well-known for her work inspired by the woodlands of the PNW and wearable couture floral pieces.
Witte Flower Farm - Kristin Witte grows specialty cut flowers with exceptional scent and color. We will tour her farm, cut beautiful flowers ourselves, and then use them for our workshop.
Debra Prinzing - As the founder of Slow Flowers movement and award-winning online directory, Debra is truly an advocate for using locally and domestically grown flowers. As such, she is the perfect person to lead us on a tour of the Seattle Wholesale Growers Market and lead our workshop there.
Flirty Fleurs - Alicia Schwede is the owner and creative director of Flirty Fleurs and Fleurs Creative. She will lead our workshop in her studio, and also introduce us to her neighbor, Flower Farmer Girls.
