France 2017

Flowers, Food and France! We began our flower exploration in Paris continuing our way down to Lyon. We visited cutting edge Parisian flower shops where we took hand tied bouquet lessons. We had a flower arranging workshop with the staff of the Ritz in its central courtyard surrounded by bubbling fountains. Along the way we enjoyed the sights and sounds of Paris, visited grand Belle Epoque gardens and ate at fabulous restaurants. We journeyed to a countryside area near Lyon staying in a boutique hotel in a 13th century castle. From there we ventured to a vineyard where we took two days of workshops in a studio carved into the mountainside. We cut our flowers from the owner’s tiered flower garden and had home cooked food by her mother. Our tour ended in Lyon in a modern hotel overlooking the city. We ended with a dinner cruise on the rivers surrounding Lyon experiencing the magical lights of Lyon.
