Italy 2025

Our spring 2025 tour to the Ligurian region of Italy was magical. We visited Milan, Genoa, the Italian Riviera and Lake Maggiore. We reveled in working with beautiful flowers in our workshops with Silvia dei Fiori and at Olga’s Flower Farm. The great flower show, EuroFlora, in Genoa showed off the abundance of the Italian Riviera. In the flower growing region near Sanremo we visited Italy’s premier ranunculus grower and a specialty rose grower who also makes perfume. Our Hanbury Botanical Gardens and Villa della Pergola visits taught us the history of the area while we toured unparalleled beauty in the gardens. Of course, no visit to Italy is complete without tasting the delicious food! ‘A Small Kitchen in Genoa’ led us through the markets of Genoa and brought us to a family-run basil farm where we made pesto and the enjoyed one of our best meals of the trip. Day trips to Nice and Monaco rounded out this spectacular adventure!
